I just went back to work after staying home with my son for a year this August. Now that I've been back at work for a little while now, I'm realizing my creative energy was the first thing to fall away. Even Grammarly is checking in with me and seeing if anything is wrong because of how little I've been writing. The only thing giving me Hope is my writing group. A few friends from my MFA program sent me pages from their books, and I sent them some of mine. I'm hoping having an audience will increase my willingness to stay motivated. Any other writers going through something like this? What helps?
