I think mental flexibility and self-confidence are important personality traits to have. They aren't skills, but they can be cultivated with practice just as skills can be learned. Being willing to trust yourself to try things you haven't tried before is important.

I've been wearing G-Defy shoes, which are helpful if you have a gait problem but enjoy walking. They offer a lot of cushioning and ankle support. Despite my toe in, I'm able to consistently walk more than 10,000 steps a day.

It was a lot of fun in middle school. Back then, though, I remember not having quite enough finesse to be great at it, but I could serve it over the net well enough. I'd like to play again now that I've grown and learned more.
